Hi, I'm Lily, and I'm currently a junior at Brooklyn Latin! As the District Co-Director for the New York chapter, I aim to raise awareness about enduring issues in our community and explore ways to address these problems with the help of volunteers, including young people. Having this platform will allow my co-director, Puja, and me to connect with people who are just as enthusiastic about volunteering and helping out in the community, whether it's visiting senior homes or cleaning up trash in local parks. I also hope to inform others about more global topics and allow youth voices to be heard through our upcoming newsletter!

Hi, I’m Michael, I’m a student at Bard College at Simon’s Rock. As a district co-director, my goal is to find key issues in our community and find smart ways / long term ways to solve them. Having this platform allows my co-director and me to collaborate with peers who share a passion for grassroots action, which includes setting up workshops, doing volunteers for a better community, cleaning up trash in local parks… Ultimately, beyond local efforts, Im excited to use our upcoming newsletter to connect our work to bigger global ideas and highlight fresh solutions, ensuring youth people have a stronger voice through upcoming newsletter.
