Hosted by Adopt Our Community Richmond, Appertain is Richmond's first community-based case competition. The event will run from June 6–7, 2026. High school students are tasked with forming teams and developing solutions to real-world community issues based in Richmond. The competition also aims to provide students with the opportunity to pitch potential community or neighbourhood projects to decision-makers, politicians, nonprofit leaders, and community organizers within the region.
